I think the Reuters headline pretty much says it all.

The children were playing near a U.S. military checkpoint. It is highly likely that the bomber saw them -- and didn't care -- before hitting the detonator.

Another 25 people -- again, mostly children -- were injured, some severely.

Wow, and they call U.S. troops "babykillers."
