Fox Television commentator Tony Snow will replace Scott McClellan as the chief White House media punching bag, the NY Times reports today.
The story reports that Snow is more gregarious and aggressive than McClellan, which personally I think will be a nice change. Frankly, I hope they issue him a whip and a stun gun.
The story also reports that Dems are noting critical comments made by the conservative Snow about the president and his policies.
These are the same people, of course, who always tells us the president surrounds himself with people who tell him only what he wants to hear.
*cough, cough* full of crap *cough, cough*

I think it's very poetic that Mr Snow gets to be Secretary of Snow-Jobs.
I am jazzed about this I know a bit about Tony Snow's life.
Although I think there is something wrong wit me that I can't wait to see some *reporters* and I use the term so loosely ...shut down
Perfect choice
Love is good practice it.
Secretary of Snow-jobs.
Funny.
But I suspect it will be even funnier when the first thing he says from the podium to the WH Press Corp is "Ya'll are MY bitches now."
jblog if he says that I might really die from laughter..
You know everyone is thinking it and I so wish I was a fly on the wall of the WH press corp room.
It's one thing to take on a PR person its another to try and take on your own who knows the ins and outs, but I might be expecting to much.
I can always hope :)
Love now tomorrow is not promised to anyone
You should read Ari Fleischer's book about his years as the flack-in-chief at the WH.
From the questions they asked him, you'd think some of the reporters are card-carrying Al Qaeda members.
Personally, if I got the job the first thing I'd do is end the daily press briefing foodfights. Ridiculous.
That is a book I want to read I just need to have some quiet time to do it.
I don't care what side of any fence someone stands on I just am tired of questions asked that any person with any logical thought can research and answer within minutes. I think they the collective WH press think I must be stupid or at least willing to be.
That is what offends me the most.
